Today in summer learning journey we are starting early because we wanted to see if there was anything on the blog and we found and coloring book website and there was lots of cool and big and amazing  with colors that are  nice and bright.

I  love to do this with a lot of cool and amazing art things to be coloured in.

Pet Day

Hi Bloggers!!!

Last week we had pet day.

 In the morning we did something a little different  we just had a break of sand scolpchers this year. We did something different we made cakes and  Biscuit. The Biscuits Were for the people who don't like cake and the cakes were for the people who do like cake. After everyone has made they cakes and  Biscuits we got to eat our cakes that we made and it was amazing.

Before the cakes we made a haber tat for a animal that is in your mind and we had a sheet to find out the clues about the animal  so in the haber tat  we with the things that it  likes on the sheet. We got split up into groups up to 4 and less. I only worked with 1 person and it was Devon because, Devon is very good at building and I am good at other things. 

  At lunch time on pet day we had hot dogs for lunch they were One dollar each. 

At 2:00 after last break time  It was time to see all of the pets that people have bought for pet day. And they was a little area for some pets that have so fun to play in a cool place for the pets and animals.

Yesterday I made a very very long sentence with no full stops. I wrote one whole page and a will bit  ore on the other side on the paper in the writing book. So down below I have a bitiable to come and show you about my writing about the long sentence.  We made  a  sentence because it is for a poem for our writing because  we wanted to make a poem so we did.

Today ,before lunch break. We got to learn about how to keep your money safe and not to tell anyone your pin number and other things.  It was a man called Jeff and he was teaching all of us. If you don't know about money you can just go to  Jeff (from ASB Bank Get WI$E ). There is a  website the you  can  look and  you can go and see him if you don't know how to keep money safe from other people when they can find out you pin number when you didn't even know that you need to keep you pin number safe. 

First thing is that you should not tell anyone your pin number because people could steal you card to buy things when you have your card as a pin number and then when you don't tell anyone your pin  number. They wouldn't know only if you don't tell anyone even when they ask you what is your pin number don't fall for it they will only be scamming you.

 Second thing is when you go to the shops be careful because if you look at the  price of an different thing you need to look in the right spot because you need to know the real price of things then when you get to the check out you will realise that it is a different price so you need to check because you buy it.

Today I did a really fun writing project.  In My moment in time workbook for this week. I described a picture that looks like a very old house. It was covered and brown walls and brown floors. It was really fun and I wrote lots of cool adjectives. When I finished My Writing I went and  showed Mrs White my writing and she said you can have a hero card because every single thing was written in the present tense.

Life Education One thing that is cool and cute just read Blog to see!

 Hi Bloggers. 

As you might know some of the classes Have been into the Life Education  truck, And as you might also know in the Live Education truck there is the cutest and funniest thing in the truck is Gerald the giraffe. Gerald the giraffe is so funny and crazy. One thing that Gerald the giraffe wanted to do the  airplane wave. When he did the airplane wave he was going up and down with his head and it is so so funny and everyone was laughing maybe the teacher Mrs Taylor and Miss dods but, i didn't know if they we;re laughing because i was to busy laughing. 

In the Life Education truck There are  four reasons for one word that is WHAM!  To tell some Feelings and our brain.      The four reasons Are

My SPEECH: Title: Yaldhurst Model School with book creator

Today on Tuesday We were presenting our speech all of us did a speech and the speech can be about: The world according to me, if i was a principal for a day,  future me,  Yaldhurst Model School, and last but not least be a cybersmart. Last year i stood up and i  present my speech to the whole class and my speech was about bubble gum and this year i did a speech about Yaldhurst Model School because i love the school i go to and the most important word in my speech is Yaldhurst Model School is the best!

 In cybersmart we have be doing Book creator. Book creator is a app you just search up on goggle and in book creator this is what we have been doing and also in another blog i made  one about my speech and me recording my voice and i was reading it out to you guys if you were on that blog.

My SPEECH

 Hi bloggers.

A week ago or 2 we started writing our speech but today I just...... FINISHED my speech, but when we do a speech the hardest part was the  Conclusion. I was SO proud of myself.  My topic of my speech Is Yaldhurst Model School because   A. it is the best school.  B.  they are lovely teachers. C. they  are kind children and never rude children.  Down below is my whole speech do you want to read my Speech? maybe I would put my Introduction because i am not finish my whole speech. We do a speech because we can learn  words and we can learn how to read big books our things you can make which its a made up story or a speech. And AMAZING to present our speech and lesson to others. I am happy when i made my speech because it was fun writing speeches and plus my favorite thing in school is  writing. When i present my speech i will be SO SO SO nervous.

Kia Ora  My name is Bella. I am going to tell you about my speech. My speech is about Yaldhurst Model School. Do you think  my speech is good just wait till the end? Yaldhurst Model School has a lots of children because They come to this school because it is the best school. Yaldhurst Model school is the best because when you read my speech you will realise how good our school is.

My Handwriting.

 Hi Bloggers. 

This is The 3rd time doing my Blog about Handwriting the reason why i love doing Handwriting for a Blog it is because i love doing it and i love how you can see My handwriting.

Yesterday down Miss dods end witch is Te Mahuri North. Down that end we do handwriting,but down Te Mahuri South Mrs Taylor's end. Down Mrs Taylor's end she does linking, but down Miss dods end we don't do linking because we  struggle to write like me. Mrs Taylor's end they don't really struggle because they have been practicing and  practicing.  Down Te mahuri North First we do the date at the top and then we wait until everybody it ready. At the end we do a sentences to have a extra boost to get better and better. At the end Miss dods marks and writes a comment to say if it was amazing or says what we need to work on. The challenge all of us basically working on is getting started to get ready for linking. In Handwriting We are starting to start sloping with our letters and when we do our sentences as well. What i have learnt in my Handwriting: In Handwriting i have learnt how to the same size in Handwriting. What i am proud of is: I am proud of Sloping because sloping makes i better and makes a very big change. In Handwriting We do three with our eyes looking at the paper and pencil and once we have done three we look the other side and  do three without seeing the piece of paper or pencil. Do you like doing Handwriting  but if you don't do handwriting try it at home?

What I know about book creator:    I know about book creator  book creator is when you make a book just like a real story but just making you own.  On book creator we can choose our own background, pitchers, stickers and you can talk by using  the video voice box.

My handwriting. ✍

 Today I am going to tell you what we have done in this week. This is my 2nd time posting a Blog about handwriting. But the last couple of Days I  have got nearter and nearter. When you keep on practicing. In handwriting you can learn all different types of letters. When we do our handwriting we have a sentes at the end as well. Once we got our handwriting books we write the date at the top of the page or the piece of paper.  Some people go down the other end witch is T mahuri South. And instead of doing just letters they do linking to another letter. What we are focusing on is making sure the letters are the same size and make sure they sit on the line.  We are not allowed to start from the bottom and not start from right to left.

My Bfg movie writing

 At lunch times we were watching the Movie the BFG. After, when we watched  the movie BFG our teachers choose to do writing about The BFG.  The BFG movie is so cool because I like the characters. The BFG was scary when he came on screen to get the girl called Sophie. I would give this movie a rating of 10 out of 10 because  at the end of the movie everyone drinks this green drink and everyone farts.

My cross country

Hi bloggers.

Yesterday We did Cross Country. When we did cross country we had to go outside of Yaldhurst Model School and for safety there were teacher and parents telling us where we are going. When I went up the shoot i got 10th place out of 11 girls and I was 2nd to last, but I didn't want to do it but I just had to and now it is all over. At the start when we started I was puffed already but I made it and  I stopped for a little bit or maybe  a minute. On the feld I had to do one lap ,but the year fives had to do two laps around the big feld.  When I was coming past the tennis   court I trip up and I have a big rash.

Mataariki for my reading

I am going to be talking about Mataariki to you. Yesterday I did a reading workbook about Matariki .In the Mataariki workbook there is three videos to watch and learn about Mataariki. Mataariki are stars. There are seven sisters what are stars in the sky.   The Matariki stars shine like a diamond in the sky at night.

My Handwriting.

Two days ago I did this lovely handwriting. When I did this handwriting I was very proud of myself. In handwriting we always do  capital and lowercase letters. Handwriting is very good for you because you will get to know how to write perfect.  When we do handwriting at the end we write a sentence after we have done our letters. When we do our sentences again we will learn new words and get the letters lovely and neat.

My time at home

Good Afternoon bloggers 

I am going to be telling you what i did at home in Covid 19.

My brother and I  chose to make teddy bear toast. We also made my dad's birthday cake it was in a packet and we used the ingredients and made it  for him.   My dad was turning 36 this year. 

In covid 19 We went for a walk and we feed the ducks and  some swans came over as well.

How i make teddy bear toasted

• Start by have a piece of bread. 
• and put in the toaster.
• Now you get so butter and spread it around.
• then you can choose and spread and spread it around .
• Now you will need some fruit of raisins and make a little face .
• then you can eat it.

Yesterday is learnt to do a screencastify and i did a Screencastify to say my Challenge this week  and my favorite thing this week. This is my first screencastify this year but i did lots last year.

This week I have been learning about Geometry with lines of symmetry. On the sides witch is the line of symmetry. On the sides there are a shape what has lots of different interesting shape in the shape they are lines what are lines of symmetry and they you look at the lines but there is a twist, sum is not right.
