End of Term 3 Blog

Today I am going to be telling you about my 10 or 11 weeks at school for Term 3. 

The first is the new scooter track. I love the scooter track because when you go under a tunnel and over a bridge it is always so fun because you go down really fast.  The other thing I like about the scooter track is because the at we can have so much fun coming down from the top of the bridge going  down really really fast. 

 

The second thing that I like about term 3 is my maths. We did the chase. The chase was so much fun but the only difference was that there was maths problems instead of hard ones for adults . 

The last thing is our gliders. Why does my little bit hard but then it got easy because you got to decorate them so so fun. On the wing I did a line patten and on the main part is just some squiggles.

  Today I am going to be telling you about my awesome speech. I have chosen to write about is Yaldhurst Model School. The reason why I choose to write about Yaldhurst Model School Is because the best school is Yaldhurst Model School. In our school we have lots of awesome teachers and amazing kind kids. So you see how great and amazing our school is because we make sure that no one gets bullied or other rude stuff just like that.  Do you like to write speeches or listen to them?  

 

 

 

 

Why I am excited to be back at school! 😜

Today I am going to be telling you about why I am excited to be back at school from lockdown for three weeks! 

So the first reason that I am happy about is because I can see all of my friends and play with them. We can also talk about what we did in lockdown. My birthday was in lockdown in level 3 which is sad but I still had lots of fun. 

The second reason is that I can show the teachers and tell them about what I have done is lockdown even though I don't have a home chromebook I can still tell the teachers. 

The third reason is that I am happy that I can go back on the scooter track and play with my friends on the scooter track and on the fun epic playground.

The Gymnastics Olympics

Today I am going to be talking about the Olympics event, Gymnastics.  For me, Gymnastics was a place we get really really tired and your parents come watch you so you can learn how to do gymnastics, but you have to be really good at gymnastics to compete and Olympics competition. 

 You can watch the live olympics on TV and see real people competing in the Olympics.  

What us your favorite sport to watch at the Olympics.

End Of Term 2

It is 3 more days until term 2 is over and then we will have 2 weeks off school for school holidays and then we will be moved into term 3. 

What I like about my work this term is that I am proud of my maths because I love the way I am keeping  spaces when I am doing sums in my maths book. I love doing maths in the morning because in the morning on a Tuesday morning we do fast four. Fast four is when Miss Lange puts up questions and then we answer them. Miss Lange puts them in columns and they are called a colour name and the colours are green (that is the easiest math problems) and orange is middle and red is hard.  

What I like doing in the winter is.. Winter Sport because it is fun playing sports and making sure that everyone in your team wins. I play netball as a winter sport because I am not really a fan of hockey and soccer.

For the last day of term ,which is Friday the 9th of July, we are having a disco and you can come as long as you have paid 8 dollars to enter to the YMS School Disco. The disco is at Templeton Golf Club and is at 5:30 till 7:30, after school some time.

On Friday the last day of term we are doing a Matariki Celebration from 2:00 till 2:50 to celebrate Matariki Day. Matariki is when there are 7 sisters and they are up in the sky, in a very very dark sky, and then you will find 7 stars all together and then you will know that they are they are the Matariki stars and the shiny 7 sisters.

On Tuesday's we do Kapa Haka and lots of people don't like Kapa Haka. I am one that doesn't like Kapa Haka and that is okay but I think it is good doing Kapa Haka each Tuesday and it is a really, really good way to learn Maori words and it will make it easier for you to understand Maori Words and songs to have fun and learn new things in Kapa Haka.

I also want to tell you about something cool we did before I started my blog this year.  We went to Living Springs  camp we had so much fun because we spent a lot of time at Living Springs camp.  We slept  in bunk houses with   Me , Riley,  Erika, Lily P,  Mikayla and India. We talked so much it was really really funny and it was funny when Erika farting a lot and at Living Springs Camp it was so so fun I could just live there forever It was the best place ever and it was a really really good camp there and having so much fun.

We have only just started the text called Komodo Dragons.
